CHASE YOUR DREAMS! - A INSPIRATIONAL STORY!
* Ajith, fondly called as "Thala" (Leader), a south Indian actor, who is also a professional motoracer, a photographer, aero designer, has decided to become an actor to get to money to become a racer.
* At the age of 15 Ajith, quitted his schooling and started working as a mechanic, where his passion for racing and mechanics started, then his ultimate goal was to become a racer
* Since he had no money, he tried several careers even started a textile processing business at Erode, which became a loss and then he became a model!
* As he was dying to become a racer, his friends suggested him to act so he could get the money to fund his racing career, as planned he got a chance to act in a couple of movies during 1991,1992.
* Immediately after getting his first payment he went on to buy a bike and biking stuffs, during his earliest race, he met a fatal accident which led to a broken spine, and he was bed ridden for 2 years
* The doctors said, he couldn't even walk again, yet he never lost his hope! He gotup! started walking towards his goal, he acted in dozens of movies, he became a star, his fan following was getting big, also his thirst for the race and speed!

RACING CAREER OF AJITH


Ajith is a keen race car driver and has driven in circuits around India in places such as Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi. Ajith is one among very few Indians to race in International arena and only Indian actor to compete in Formula championships. He has also been abroad for various races, including Germany and Malaysia. He drove in the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships.He raced in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship along with two other Indians, amran and parthiva


Formula BMW Asia (2003)
After a one-off race during the Formula Maruti Indian Championships in 2002, where he finished in fourth place, Ajith signed a contract with manager Akbar Ebrahim confirming his participation in the inaugural Formula BMW Asia Championship. Despite spinning out in the first lap of his first race, Ajith successfully completed the season by finishing seventh in the season.
Formula 2 (2010)
After a six-year sabbatical, Ajith signed up for his third season of car racing by participating in the 2010 season of the FIA Formula Two Championship. The decision to be involved in the sport was made after Ajith's film directed by menon  was delayed, allowing Ajith to participate for the whole season.Prior to signing up, Ajith competed in the final round of the MRF racing series in Chennai in February 2010, but failed to finish the race due to mechanical problems. Further trials in Sepang, Malaysia followed suit as he practised for the season's beginning in April 2010 in his Formula Renault V6 car with Eurasian Racing, shedding 11 kilograms during training.

* In 2002 as he was progressing to become a dominant superstar in kollywood Industry, Ajith declared a career break and chose to race, this time not bikes, but superfast cars!

* Then Ajith pursued his acting career, and gave a comeback with blockbusters like "Billa", and he proved he is the best in the Industry again!

*Prior to signing up, Ajith competed in the final round of the MRF racing series in Chennai in February 2010, but failed to finish the race due to mechanical problems.

* Ajith was operated 15 times (13 on his spine), in which condition no other human will be able to walk, but he never used a stunt double in his movies, He dives from bridges, drifts a car, jumps off moving vehicles, when asked why he risks by doing stunts himselfm he replied "I get paid, I am an actor, those who watches the movie should get the satisfaction for the money, and I work for the satisfaction for the money I get paid!"
* During his career's peak, Ajith was the third best motoracer in whole India! And now he has the most powerful place in South Indian cinema as well!
* Now using his fame, he does campaign rides to various corners of the nation to create an awareness about safety driving and using helmet and other safety gears!
